Magic Kingdom Halloween Party Fails to Sell Out for First Time in Years

A long-running streak at Magic Kingdom has ended. The Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party held on Sunday, August 30, 2026 did not sell out, marking the first time in years that not every party had gone. The event first reached a complete sellout in 2022 and had managed it every year since.

Pricing makes the result more striking. Disney had set the August 30 party at $149, placing it among the cheaper dates of the season, yet several considerably more expensive October parties sold out ahead of it.

That said, this is not a collapse in demand. 27 of the season's 38 dates had already sold out, leaving only ten available after August 30. The remaining September and October dates could still sell out. In each of the previous two seasons, the final ticket went on September 24. What is now off the table is another fully sold-out season, since the August 30 date has already passed.
