Three Weeks Out: Disneyland Paris Halloween Festival Starts September 26 – Into Shorter Evenings

Disneyland Paris switches into Halloween mode in three weeks. The Disney Halloween Festival runs from September 26 to November 1, 2026 in Disneyland Park. As in previous years there is no separate ticket and no dedicated hard-ticket Halloween party of the kind Magic Kingdom runs in Florida – everything is included with regular park admission.

What is confirmed

The centrepiece is again the "Mickey's Halloween Celebration" parade, with Mickey and friends in Halloween costumes and a show stop at Central Plaza.

Among character encounters, the return of Dr. Facilier to Frontierland is the headline. Disney Villains including Maleficent, Captain Hook, the Queen of Hearts, Jafar and Cruella de Vil are also announced, alongside Miguel from Coco. Jack Skellington and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas once again operate via a virtual queue – something to sort out in the app early on arrival day.

On the dining side, the Lucky Nugget Saloon transforms into the "Unlucky Nugget Saloon" with gothic decor and a menu drawing on Phantom Manor. A park-wide treasure hunt and an M&M's treat hunt round out the offering.

Frontierland remains the centre of the season

As in previous years, Frontierland carries the theming: spooky western dressing, Día de los Muertos motifs and Phantom Manor as the natural anchor. Main Street leans on pumpkins and autumn decor, with projections on the facades after dark.

Over in Disney Adventure World, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror remains the obvious seasonal stop.

The planning catch: shorter evenings

The timing matters because the surrounding conditions have changed. Since September 7, both parks close at 9:00 p.m. Monday to Friday rather than 10 p.m.; weekends stay at 10 p.m. Nighttime shows move forward accordingly on weekdays.

For weekday Halloween visits that means one hour less evening than in previous years. Fitting the parade, character meets and the nighttime show into a single day now calls for a tighter schedule – and weekend dates during the autumn holidays should be planned around significantly heavier crowds.

Current closures add to the pressure: Crush's Coaster has been down since September 7 and stays closed into summer 2027, the Frontierland station of the Disneyland Railroad is closed through October 4, and Mad Hatter's Tea Cups from September 21 to October 2.
