Halloween Details Confirmed: Disneyland Paris Stays Open Until 11 p.m. on October 31 – the Only Day Adults May Wear Costumes

Two and a half weeks out, Disneyland Paris released the official details of its Disney Halloween Festival on September 8. The season runs as announced from September 26 to November 1, 2026 at Disneyland Park, with no separate ticket – everything is included with regular admission.

Two previously open points are now settled, and both matter for planning.

October 31 runs until 11 p.m.

Halloween night itself gets an extended programme until 11:00 p.m., including exclusive character encounters, a dedicated fireworks show and treat distribution.

That matters because both parks have closed at 9:00 p.m. on weekdays since September 7. October 31, 2026 falls on a Saturday – so it gains an additional hour even over a normal weekend day.

Costumes: one day only

The second clarification addresses a question that comes up every year. Disneyland Paris is unambiguous: October 31 is the only opportunity all year for guests of all ages to visit in costume.

Every other day of the season follows the standard dress code, under which costumes are reserved for children. Adults who want to dress up must book October 31 – a Saturday that will already draw the season's heaviest crowds.

New decor and a new score

The release adds several concrete details:

• Main Street gains roughly 40 new pumpkins and 170 Mickey-shaped candles
• New Art Deco stained-glass windows featuring villains, plus Victorian-style garlands
• Main Street receives an entirely new original musical score for the season

Character costumes are specified too: Mickey appears as a mystical count, Minnie as a little witch, Donald as a vampire and Daisy as a bat lady – all four wearing matching bat brooches.

A correction on the cavalcade

A point of accuracy: Disneyland Paris officially describes "Mickey's Halloween Celebration" as a cavalcade with four floats, not a parade. Rarely seen characters including Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar are set to appear.

If our September 5 item calling it a parade has already gone out, this is worth correcting.

The rest of the programme

The previously reported elements are confirmed: character meets with Cruella, Maleficent, Jafar and Dr. Facilier, plus Jack Skellington and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Phantom Manor, Big Thunder Mountain and – in the second park – the Tower of Terror carry the theming.

New food items include the "Devilish Brookie" and "Ursula's Curse Cake". As reported, the Lucky Nugget Saloon becomes the Unlucky Nugget Saloon with new decor and a revised menu.

Disneyland Paris has still not published exact show times. These typically appear shortly before the season opens, via the app and the online programme.
