Tokyo Disneyland: Cinderella’s Fairy Tale Hall to Close Indefinitely

Tokyo Disneyland is preparing for another attraction closure. Cinderella’s Fairy Tale Hall, located inside Cinderella Castle, will temporarily close beginning October 1, 2026.
At this time, Disney has not announced a reopening date.

The official Tokyo Disney Resort closure calendar currently lists Cinderella’s Fairy Tale Hall as closed from October 1, 2026, with the reopening date marked as “TBD.”

A Walk-Through Experience Inside Cinderella Castle

Cinderella’s Fairy Tale Hall is different from most attractions at Tokyo Disneyland. Rather than being a ride, it is a walk-through experience that allows guests to explore the interior of Cinderella Castle.

Inside, guests can discover artwork, paintings and dioramas inspired by the story of Cinderella. The experience also includes a throne room and Cinderella’s famous glass slipper.

According to Tokyo Disney Resort, the experience takes approximately eight minutes and is located in Fantasyland.

No Reopening Date Announced

Disney has not yet revealed how long the closure will last or exactly what work will be carried out during the closure.

The official Tokyo Disney Resort schedule currently lists the closure as beginning October 1 and continuing until “TBD.” The resort also notes that temporary closure periods are subject to change.

For guests visiting Tokyo Disneyland after September 30, Cinderella’s Fairy Tale Hall will therefore no longer be available until further notice.

Cinderella Castle Will Remain

The closure does not mean that Cinderella Castle itself will close. The castle will continue to serve as one of Tokyo Disneyland’s most recognizable landmarks.

Only the Cinderella’s Fairy Tale Hall walkthrough experience will be unavailable.

Disney is expected to provide additional information about the closure and its eventual reopening at a later date.
