Grand Floridian Cafe Returns November 2 – Reservations Already Live

Four months after closing, the Grand Floridian Cafe finally has a date. Walt Disney World's flagship resort restaurant reopens on November 2, 2026, and dinner reservations are open now.

One of the longer restaurant closures of the year at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is nearly over. The Grand Floridian Cafe reopens on Monday, November 2, 2026 following a roughly four-month refurbishment.

The restaurant closed in July 2026. Disney had previously indicated work would wrap in October, so the confirmed date lands slightly later but broadly within expectations.

Reservations: dinner yes, brunch unclear

Anyone planning a November trip should move quickly: dinner reservations for dates from November 2 onward are already bookable. Brunch service, however, is not yet loaded into the system for the post-reopening period.

During the closure, brunch relocated to Cítricos, where it runs from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Disney has not said whether or when brunch returns to the Grand Floridian Cafe.

What was refurbished

Disney has released no detail on the scope of the work. All that is confirmed is a multi-month refurbishment – nothing has been shared about decor, layout or any menu revision. What actually changed will only become clear at reopening.

The resort's other restaurants, including 1900 Park Fare, stayed open throughout.
