A New Show at the Castle: Minnie and Mrs. Claus Get Their Own Christmas Stage

When Disneyland Paris announced its 2026 holiday season on September 8, World of Frozen took the spotlight. The full programme is now available – and it contains an addition that barely registered in the first round of coverage: a new show on the Castle Stage in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

What happens on the Castle Stage

From November 14, 2026, Minnie Mouse and Mrs. Claus appear together there. Disneyland Paris describes it as a brand-new musical celebration featuring original Christmas songs. That start date puts it a week after the season itself opens on November 7.

Mrs. Claus is not new to the resort: she made her Disneyland Paris debut during the 2025 season. What is new is the pairing – and that she now headlines a stage show at the park's most prominent location.

The resort has not yet published how often the show runs or how long it lasts. Smaller formats of this kind are typically performed once or twice daily at Disneyland Paris, usually around the parade – but that has not been confirmed for this show.

Where the characters are

Character locations are confirmed for the first time:

• Stitch – at Videopolis
• Jack Skellington – at Critter Corral, using a virtual queue via the app
• Disney Princesses – on Central Plaza
• Santa Claus – at Disney Clothiers on Main Street
• Mickey and friends – in Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade
• Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff – throughout Arendelle village in World of Frozen

The virtual queue for Jack Skellington is the single most useful planning detail here. Anyone hoping to meet him needs the app and should sort it early in the day – there is no standby line for this one.

Two dark rides close in November

Two closures sit alongside the holiday season:

• Les Voyages de Pinocchio – November 2 to 14, 2026
• Phantom Manor – November 16 to 28, 2026

The staggering is deliberate: the dates do not overlap, so the park is never without both dark rides at once. Phantom Manor also closes only after the Disney Halloween Festival ends on November 1, keeping it available for the entire Halloween season.

Both are short, scheduled maintenance windows; Phantom Manor was down at roughly the same time last year. No details about the work itself have been given.

What this means for a November visit

Anyone targeting the first half of November should factor this in: between November 2 and 28, one of the two dark rides is closed at any given time, and the new Castle Stage show does not begin until November 14. The complete holiday programme, castle show included, is only in place from mid-month.

On the other hand, that exact window – mid to late November, ahead of the French school holidays – is historically the quietest stretch of the season.
